    All of the above

Marketing is a part of all of the above Selling, Advertising and Buying. Marketing is the methodology of communicating the value of a product or service to customers, for the purpose of selling that product or service. It includes the coordination of four elements called the 4 P’s of marketing: Product, Price, Place and Promotional strategy (advertising).

Here is an example of Marketing,
” If a young man tells his date she’s intelligent looks lovely and is a great conversationalist, he’s saying the right things to the right person and that’s marketing. If the young man tells his date how handsome, smart and successful he is – that’s advertising.”

Marketing is your strategy for allocating resources in order to achieve your objectives.
