20 men complete one-third of a work in 20 days. How many more men should be employed to finish the rest of work in 24 more days?

    Answer: (2) 12
    Explanation:-
    Let the age of X men more are employed  for the rest work.
    Given-
    20 men can complete one-third of work = 20 days
    M 1 = 20 , M 2 = (20 + X), D 1 = 20  & D 2 = 25
    Formula-
    M 1 x D 1 W 1 = M 2 x D 2 x W 2
    Where, M  = number of men, W = work  &  D = number days.
    Then, 20 x 20 x 2/3 = 25 x (20 + X) x 1/3
    800 = 500 + 25 X
    25 X = 800 – 500
    25 X =  300
    X  = 300/25
    X = 12
    Hence, the answer is (2) 12.
