In a 50 – metre race, A defeats B by 10 metres and B defeats C by 5 metres. Then by how many metres can A defeat C?

    Answer: (1) 15 metres

    Explanation:-

    A defeats B by 10 metres and B defeats C by 5 metres.
    Then, A defeated C = 10 + 5 = 15 metres

    Hence, the answer is (1) 15 metres.
