    RE: When is the ‘National Science Day’ Celebrated in India?


    The ‘National Science Day’ is celebrated on 28 February. It is celebrated to remember of the discovery of the Raman effects which is discovered by the Sir Chandrasekhara  Venkata Raman.  Sir C. V. Raman was received the Nobel Prize in Physics for this invention in 1930.  He was a Tamil Brahmin and first one of the science.

    In 1986, the first ‘National Science Day’  was celebrated by the  N C S T C (National Council for Science and Technology Communication) in India. It is the main science festival of India which celebrated every by the Indian.
