How Many Days will be Needed to Complete the Work like this Way? If

Radhika, Sanya and Devika can do a piece of work in 36, 48 and 72 days respectively. They work alternatively, first day– Radhika, second day– Sanya, Third day– Devika, fourth day– Radhika and so on. How many days will be needed to complete the work like this way?

    Answer: (1) 48 days
    Explanation:-
    Radhika, Sanya  and  Devika can do a piece of work = 36, 48   and 72 days
    They together can do work   in a day = 1/36 + 1/48 + 1/72
    = (4 + 3 + 2) /144
    =  9 /144
    =  1/16
    They together can work complete = 16 days
    If they do the work alternatively,
    Then, they can do complete the work = 3 x 16
    = 48 days.
    Hence, the answer is (1) 48 days.
