    Hindi is not an Official Language of U.N.O. United Nations are the six language which used in the UN meeting, these are Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.  These languages are mother tongue of 2.8 billion people, nearly half the world population.

    Hindi is one of the language spoken India and official language also. English being the other official language. Hindi became the official language of India in 1965.  Nearly 425 million people speak Hindi as a first language and around 120 million as a second language. Hindi word comes from the Persian word Hind, meaning is ‘land of the Indus River’.
