    Sitar instrument is associated with Pandit Ravi Shankar. Robindro Shaunkor Chowdhury (7 April 1920 – 11 December 2012) was an Indian musician and composer three time Grammy award winner. Ravi Shankar was awarded the three to Indian National civil honours –
    Padma Bhushan in 1967
    Padma Vibushan in 1981
    Bharat Ratna in 1999,
    Pandit Ravi Shankar was also awarded by several award by other governmental some like are;
    Ravi Shankar was received the ‘Roman Magsaysay Award’ in 1992.
    He was received the Legion of Honour of France in 2000
    Elizabeth ll was awarded to Pt. Ravi Shankar ‘Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire’.
