What is the Pass Percentage of Whole Class? If

A class has two sections, which contain 20 and 30 students. The  pass percentage of these sections are 80 % and 60 % respectively. The pass percentage of whole class is

    Answer: (2) 68%
    Explanation:-
    80% of the 20 = 20 x 80/100 = 16
    60% of the 30 = 30 x 60/100 = 18
    Total pass student = 16 + 18  = 34
    Then, the pass percentage of whole class = 34 x 100/50
    = 68%
    Hence, the answer is (2) 68%.
