What will be the Perimeter of a Sheet? If

The perimeter of a sheet of paper in the shape of a quadrant of a circle is 75 cm. Its area would be (pi = 22/7):

    Answer: (1) 346.5 cm2
    Explanation:-
    Perimeter of quadrant  of a circle = 75 cm
    Then, the perimeter of a quadrant = 2pie r/4 + 2r

    2 pie r /4 + 2r = 75
    = ( 2 pie r + 4x2r)/4 = 75
    = 2 pie r + 8r = 75 x 4
    = 2 x 22/7 x r + 8r = 300                                                 ( pie = 22/7)
    = 44r + 56r = 300 x 7
    100r = 2100
    r = 21 cm
    Now, the area of this quaderant = 1/4 x pie r square
    = 1/4 x 22/7 x 21 x 21
    = 346.5 cm square.
    Hence, the answer is (1) 346.5 cm suare.
