    1. Answer: (a) 4 crores

    Explanation:-
    Shares of company U = 72 x 100/360
    = 2 x 10
    = 20 crores

    Shares of company V = 72 x 120/360
    = 2 x 12
    = 24 crores

    Then, the difference of market shares of companies U and V = 24 – 20 = 4 crores

    Hence, the answer is (a) 4 crores.
    2. Answer: (c) V

    Explanation:-
    The company having maximum market share is V.

    Hence, the answer is (c) V.
