    Answer: (3) 7004

    Solution:-
The present population of the town = 57600

If the population of a town decreased at rate of 4% per annum.
    The population of a town two years before = 57600 (1 + 4/100)^2
    = 57600 x 26 x 26/25 x 25
    =  62300.16

    The population of a town after two years = 57600 (1 – 4/100)^2
    = 57600 x 24/25
    = 55296

The difference of population of a town in two years before and two years after = 62300 – 55296
    = 7004

Hence, the correct answer is option (3) 7004.
