    Ramon del Fierro Magasaysa (31 August 1907 – 17 March, 1957) was the 7th President of the Philippines of the republic. Ramon Magsaysay Award given to those personalities who give outstanding contributions in Government service, Public Service, Community Leadership, Journalism, Literature and Creative Communication Arts, Peace and International Understanding and Emergent Leadership in the memory of Ramon Magsaysay.
