    The onset of reproductive life is called puberty. It is the time when the gonads develop both endocrine & gametogenic function.
    Precocious Puberty: Development of menarche (in girls) and sexual characteristics (in boys) before the age of 9 years is premature and is called precocious puberty.
    Delayed puberty: Delayed puberty in male is called Eunuchoidism (20 yeas) and in female, it is called primary amenorrhea (17 years).
