    Pistil

    Female reproductive part of the flower is known as pistil and the male part is the Stigma. The female part pistil is centrally located in the flower. You know that flower play the significant role in the reproductive system of the plant.

    Flowers reproduce the male and female gametes for sexual reproduction. They produce seeds which finally grow into new plants. Some flowers are two type bisexual and unisexual. Bisexual flowers have both the male and female reproductive organs and another hand side unisexual flower has either the male or female organs.

    There are four parts of a flower are the sepals, petals, stamen and pistil. Here we are discussing the Pistil, The pistil is the female reproduction organ of the flower. It is also known as the carper. Each pistil is made up of the following parts.
