The Rivers Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna and Cuvery drain into Bay of Bengal. A large number of rivers Ganga, Brahmaputra along with Godavari, mahanadi, Krishna and Kaveri drain into the Bay of Bengal. The Bay of Bengal is a bay that forms the northeastern part of the Indian Ocean.
Mahanadi River is the third largest penisula of India with the length of 851 km. and the largest river of India in Orissa state.
Godavari is the second longest in India with the length 1450 km.
Krishna river passes from the Western Ghats mountain mahabaleshwar. Its length is 1290 km.
Cauvery river also known as the Dakshin Ganga. It flows south and east for around 765 km.
