How many days will take

Spinning 3 hours daily, Kanika can spin 2 kg cotton-balls in 12 days. Spinning 4 hours daily, how many days will she take to spin 10 kg cotton balls?

    Answer: (1) 45 days

    Explanation:-
    Kanika takes 3 hours daily for 12 days to spin 2 kg cotton ball.
    Then, total time spent by Kanika = 12 x 3
    = 36 hours
    Therefore, 1 kg cotton ball spinned = 36/2 = 18 hours ……………………….. (1)

    Again,
    Let Kanika takes daily for X days to spin 10 kg cotton ball
    Therefore, total time spent by Kanika to spin 10 kg cotton ball = 4 x X
    = 4 X hours
    Therefore, 1 kg cotton ball is spinned = 4 X/10 hours  ………………………….. (2)

    From equation (1) & (2),
    18 = 4 X/10
    4 X = 18 x 10
    X = 18 x 10/4
    X = 45 days.

    Hence, the correct answer is option (1) 45 days.
