    Spring Tides Occur on, full moon day as well as on new moon day. Tide caused by the gravitational pull of the moon and sun together in the same direction is called Spring Tide. Neap Tide is When the tidal range is at its smallest. This occurs during the first and third quarters fo the moon.

    Tides are caused by the gravitational pull of the moon and the sun.
