1 Answer(s)

A. Answer : (4) 2.

Explanation:-
The sum of unit consumption in 2012 = 600 + 700 + 400 + 300 + 200
= 2200
Then, the average of unit consumption in 2012 = 2200/5
= 440
2 months in 2012,  the consumption of electric units was more than the average units consumption in that year.

Hence, the answer is (4) 2.

B. Answer:

Explanation: –
The total units consumption in the year 2012 = 600 + 700 + 400 + 300 + 200
= 2200
The total units consumption in the year 2013  = 550 + 500  + 400 + 350 + 450
= 2250

Increase consumption = 2250 – 2200
= 50
Increase in percent = 50 x 100/2200
= 2.27 %

Hence, the answer is (4) 2.27 %.

C. Answer:  (3) November

Explanation:-
The maximum difference in the units consumption between these two years has been found in November = 450 – 200
= 250

Hence, the answer is (3) November.

D. Answer: (3) 450 units

Explanation:-
The sum of  electric consumption by the family during these 5 months in 2013 = 550 + 500  + 400 + 350 + 450
= 2250

Then, the average of  electric consumption by the family during these 5 months in 2013 = 2250/5
= 450

Hence, the answer is (3) 450 units.
