Average income of ‘A’ and ‘B’ is ₹ 200 and average income of ‘C’ and ‘D’ is ₹ 250. The average income of A, B, C and D is –

    Answer: (2) Rs. 225

    Explanation:-
    The average income of ‘A’ and ‘B’ = Rs. 200
    Then, the total income of ‘A’ and ‘B’ = 2 x 200
    = Rs. 400

    The average of ‘C’ and ‘D’ = Rs. 250
    Then, the total income of ‘C’ and ‘D’ = 2 x 250
    = Rs. 500

    The total income of A, B, C and D = 400 + 500
    = Rs. 900

    Then, the average income of A, B, C and D = 900/4
    = Rs. 225

    Hence, the answer is (2) Rs.225.
