The average weight of 50 balls is 6 gm. If the weight of the bag be included the average weight increases by 0.05 gm, what is the weight of the bag?

    All options are incorrect.

    Correct answer is 2.5 gm. 

    Solution:-
    The average weight of 50 balls = 6 gm
    Therefore, total weight of 50 balls = 50 x 6
    = 300 gm

    If the weight of the bag be included the average weight increased by 0.05 gm
    Then, the weight of balls with the bag = 50 x (6 + 0.05)
    = 50 x 6.05
    = 302.5 gm

    So, the weight of the bag = 302.5 – 300
    = 2.5 gm

    Hence, the correct answer is 2.5 gm.
