The circumference of the base of a right circular cylindrical pot is 132 cm and its height is 25 cm, the capacity of the pot, in litres, is

    Answer: (1) 34.65 
    Explanation:-
    The circumference of the base of a right circular cylinder pot = 132 cm.
    Formula-
    The circumference of the base = 2 x pai x r
    Where, r = the radius of the base.
    Then, 2 x pai x r = 132
    r = 132  x 7/22 x 2
    r = 21 cm
    Height of the cylinder = 25 cm
    Formula – 
    The volume of the cylinder = Pai x r2 x h
    Where, r = radius of the cylinder & h = height of the cylinder.Then, the volume of the cylinder = 22 x (21)2 x 25/7
    = 22 x 21 x 3 x 25
    = 34650 cm3
    1 cm3 = 0.001 litre
    Therefore, 34650 cm3 = 34650 x 0.001 = 34.65 litres.
    Hence, the answer is (1) 34.56 litres.
