The diameter of a garden roller is 4m and it is 2m long. How much area will it cover in 5 revolutions ?

    Answer: (4) 44 cm^2

    Solution:-
    Given-

    The diameter = 1.4 m
    Radius = 1/2 of diameter. = 1.4 / 2 = 0.7 m
    Length of the garden = 2 m

    Surface area of the circle =  2 x pie x r x l
                                         = 2 x 22/7 x 0.7 x 2 = 8.8 m²
    Revolution = 5
    So,  total area  covered in 5 revolution = 5 x 8.8 = 44 m²

    Hence, the correct answer is option (4) 44 cm^2
