A person walks in the given directions as follows
(i) 60 m to East ; (ii) then 80 m to South; (iii) then 120 m to West; (iv) then 30 m to North and (v) then 60 m to East. The distance between the starting point and the last point is (in  meters)

    Answer: (2) 50 

    Explanation:-
    According to the question look at the below figure-

    RE: The distance between the starting point and the last point is (in  meters)

    Then, the distance between the starting point and last point = 80 – 30
    = 50 m.

    Hence, the correct answer is option (2) 50.
