    Dadabhai Naoroji is known by the title of ‘The Grand Old Man.

    He was born on 4th September 1825 in Mumbai and well known as a great politician and social leader. He became Prime Minister of Baroda in 1874 and the member of Legislative Council of Mumbai from 1885 to 1888.

    Dadabhai Naoroji was also elected as President of Congress in 1886. He passed away on 30th june 1947 in Mumbai.
