# Find the Largest Size of The Tile ?

A man decides to pave with square tiles his hall which is 4.8 metres long and 5.38 metres wide. Find the largest size of the tile that he could use

- 316 cm
- 210 cm
- 20 cm
- 2 cm

**Answer: (4) 2 cm**

**Explanation:-
**The length of a hall = 4.8 meters = 4.8 x 100 = 480 cm

The breadth of a hall = 5.38 meters = 3.58 x 100 = 358 cm

The factors of 480 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 5

The factors of 358 = 2 x 179

The largest size of a tile = the H C F of 480 and 358 = 2

Then, the edupil largest size of tile is 2 cm.

Hence, the answer is (4) 2 cm.
