    Answer: (2) 1/9

    Explanation:-
    The number of faces in the dice = 6
    Then, the total number of cases = 6 x 6 = 36

    Favored cases which sum is 9 = (3, 6), (4, 5), (6, 3) , (5, 4)
    Then, the number of cases =  4

    Therefore, the probability = 4/36
    = 1/9
    Then, 1/9 is the probability of getting a sum 9 from the two though of a dice.

    Hence, the answer is (2) 1/9.
