Answer:  (d) 8: 7 

Solution:-
The ratio of age of A and B = 6: 5
Then, Let the age of A and B be 6 X and 5 X

Sum of their ages = 44 years
Then, 6 X + 5 X = 44
11 X = 44
X = 44/11
X = 4

So, the age of A = 6 X = 6 x 4 = 24 years and the age of B = 5 X = 4 x 5 = 20 years

After 8 years their ages = 24 + 8 = 32 years & 20 + 8 = 28 years
Then, the ratio of their ages = 32/28
8: 7

Hence, the correct answer is option (d) 8: 7.
