    Lemna

    • The Rootless Plant is Lemna. It is a free-floating aquatic perennial that forms a floating mat of minute foliage on the water surface from the duckweed family. This species spreads mainly through vegetative reproduction.
    • The ginger root is not actually a root, but a rhizome. Ginger has a long tradition of being very effective in alleviating symptoms of gastrointestinal distress. In herbal medicine, ginger is excellent carminative and intestinal spasmolytic. Ginger is one of the most important spices worldwide.
