The whole surface of a cube is 150 sq.cm. Then the volume of the cube is

    Answer: (1)  125 cm3.
    Explanation:-
    The whole surface area of a cube = 150 sq.cm.         (Given)
    Formula-
    The whole surface area of cube = 6a2
    Where, a = side of cube
    = 6a2 = 150
    a2 = 150/6
    a2 = 25
    a  = 5                         (square root of both side)
    Formula-
    The volume of cube = a3
    Where, a = side of a cone.
    Then, the volume of cube = 53
    = 5 x 5 x 5 = 125 cm3
    Hence, the volume of the cube is 125 cm3.
