The National Youth Festival is an annual gathering of youth with various activities in India. It is celebrated in different state during every year 12 to 16 January.  It is always celebrated on the birthday of Swami Vivekananda on 12 January that day known as the National Youth Festival. It began in 1995 as a major activity under the programme of National Integration Camp (NIC). It is mostly celebrated in Orissa, Guwahati, Assam.
