    Answer: (1) 16 km

    Explanation:-
    The distance traveled by a farmer = 61 km
    Total time taken by a farmer to travel the distance 61 km = 9 hrs.

    Let the distance be X km which is covered with the speed of 4 km/hr.
    Therefore, remaining distance = (61 – X) km

    According to the question,
    Then, X/ 4 + (61 – X)/ 9 = 9
    (9 x X + 61 x 4 – X x 4) /36 = 9
    (9 X + 244  – 4 X)  = 9 x 36
    9 X – 4 X = 324 – 244
    5 X = 80
    X = 80/16
    X  = 16 km

    There are 16 km distance covered with the speed of 4 km/hr.

    Hence, the answer is (1)  16 km.
