What is the True Length of the Rope Measured? If

After measuring 120 metres of a rope, it was discovered that the metre rod was 3cm The true length of the rope measured is:

    Answer: (4) 123 m 60 cm

    Explanation:-
    The length of the rod = 3 cm
    To measure 120 m ,
    Rod is apply by 120 times .

    Therefore, total length that is measure by longer part = 120 x 3
    = 360 cm = 360/100                                (1 cm = 1/100 m)
    = 3.60  m .
    Then, the actual length of rope = 120 + 3.6
    = 123 m 60 cm

    Hence, the answer is (4) 123 m 60 cm.
