    The Duration of the Twelfth Five Year Plan is “1 April 2012 to 31 March 2017”. Five Year Plan was Introduced by the first Prime Minister of Independent of India Jawaharlal Nehru. The economy of India is based in part on planning through five-year plans. which are developed, executed and monitored by the planning commission.
