If  ( x – 2 ) is a factor  of X2 + 3Q X– 2Q, then the value of Q is

    Answer: (4) -1
    Explanation:-
    X – 2 or X = 2
    X2 + 3QX – 2Q
    Put the value of X in the given equation,
    22 + 3Q x 2 – 2Q = 0
    4 + 6Q – 2Q = 0
    4Q = -4
    Q = -1

    Hence, the answer is (4) -1
