    Baroda

A heartburn against the extoic rule coupled with the exaction of the Gaekwar of Baroda supported by the British Government unaided the Waghera chiefs of Okha Mandal to take up arms. THe Wagheras carried out inroads into British territory during 1818-19. A peace pact was signed in November 1820.
