50 boxes of equal weight are loaded on a carryvan. 5 more boxes weighing 105 kg each were later added, making the average weight of all 55 boxes as 95 kg. The weight of each of the 50 boxes initially loaded is

    Answer: (2) 94kg
    Explanation:-
    Number of boxes are loaded on carry van = 50
    5 more boxes weighting  = 105 Kg each
    Total weight of 5 boxes = 105 x 5 = 525 kg

    The average weight of 55 boxes = 95kg
    Total weight of 55 boxes = 95 x 55 = 5225 kg
    Therefore, the weight of 50 boxes = 5225 – 525 = 4700kg
    The average weight of each box = 4700/50
    = 94 kg

    Hence, the answer is (2) 94 kg.
