    Answer: (2) 48 

    Solution:-
    The factors of 8 = 2 x 2 x 2 
    The factors of 12 = 2 x 2 x 3 
    The factors of 16 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2

    Then, the Lowest Common Factors = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 
     = 48 

    Hence, the correct answer is option (2) 48.
