    Answer: (c) Rs. 3,000
    Explanation:-
    Let X’s investments be Rs. A.
    Then, the ratio of capitals = (A x 12): (2A x 6) : (3A x 4) = 12A : 12A : 12A
                                                       = 1: 1: 1
    Z’s share = Rs. 9,000 x 1/3 = Rs. 3000
