    Mother Teresa

    “When I wash a leper’s wounds, I feel I am nursing the Lord himself. Touch a leaper, touch him with love,” was Mother Teresa word. Mother Teresa dedicated her life to the service of the “poorest of the poor” as she believed that in serving the poorest, she was serving God. Her life was a story of love and compassion. To the millions of sick, abandoned poor and dying she brought help and relief.

    Mother Teresa (26 August 1910 – 5 September 1997)  was a Roman Catholic religious sister.  Mother Teresa received several awards for her service to the downtrodden. Among the several awards She received was Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 .
