    Amazon crosses the equator twice. It is located in the South America. It flows through Guyana, Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia and Venezuela.

    The length of this river is 6400 kilometers (Approximately). It is the second longest river in the world.  Manaus is the largest city which situated the bank of Amazon river. There are no bridges that cross the Amazon river. This river has 25% of the fresh water that flows into the worlds Ocean. It can be as much as on to six miles wide during the flood season.
