The Battle of Plassey fought between the British East Indian Company and Nawab Siraj-ud-daula, the last Independent Nawab of Bengal. British East India Company was a conclusive victory over the Bengal Nawab. Plassey took a place at Palashi on the banks of the Bhagirathi River.
