Answer:  (2) 10.80

Explanation:-
The ratio of liquids X and Y in the mixture = 3: 2
Let the quantity of liquid X be 3 A  & quantity of Y be 2 A
Again, let total cost price of the mixture be Rs.100
Profit = 10%
Then selling price of mixture (3 A + 2 A) x 11 = 110
 5 A = 10
A = 2

Then quantity of liquid X = 3 X = 3 x 2 = 6 liters and quantity of liquid Y = 2 X = 2 x 2 = 4 liters
Total quantity of mixture = 6 + 4 = 10 liters

Let the cost price of liquid Y be Rs. B per liter
Then cost price of liquid X will be (B + 2) per liter

6 (B + 2 )  + 4 B = 100
6 B + 12 + 4 B = 100
10 B + 12 = 100
10 B = 100 – 12
10 B = 88
B =  8.8

Then price of liquid Y = B = Rs.8.8 and price of liquid X =  8.8 + 2
 = Rs.10.8

Hence, the correct answer is option (2) 10.80
