    Answer:  (2) Rs.2,500

    Solution:-
Let the total profit be Rs.100

    After paying to charity, A’s share = Rs. (90 x 2/5)
    = Rs.36

    If A’s share is Rs.36, total profit = Rs.100

    If A’s share  Rs.900,
    Then, total profit = 100 x 900/36
    = 100 x 50/2
    = 50 x 50
    = Rs.2500

Hence, the correct answer is option (2) Rs.2,500.
