    Answer:  (a) X 

    Explanation:-
    X is elder than Z,  Y is younger than Z,  Z is elder than W,  W is younger than X, 
    Then,    X > W  > Z > Y 

    So,  X is the eldest. 

    Hence, the correct answer is option (a) X.
