    X-Ray can be used to detect in precious stones and diamonds. X-rays were discovered by the German physicist W.C. Ronthen in 1895. X-rays is a form of electromagnetic radiation. I hope You know very well, Airport security luggage scanners use X-rays for inspecting the interior of luggage for security threats before loading on aircraft. X-rays microscopic analysis, which uses electromagnetic radiation in the soft x-ray band to produce image of very small objects.
