National security Advisor

Ajit Doval was formerly Director of the Intelligence Bureau has been Appointed as National Security Advisor. Ajit Kumar Doval is an Indian intelligence officer, serving as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s National Security Advisor  since 30 may 2014.

Ajit Doval start his career as an IPS officer from the 1968 batch of the Kerala cadre. He lived undercover in Pakistan for seven years. He also awarded by the several award.  In 1988, Doval was awarded one of the highest gallantry awards, the Kriti Chakra.
