What will be the Altitude of the Triangle? If

Area of a square with side x is equal to the area of a triangle with base x. The altitude of the triangle is:

    Answer: (3) 2 X
    Area of a square = Side x Side
    Then, the area of a square = X x X
    = X2
    Area of a square = Area of a triangle                    (Given in the question)
    Area of a triangle = base x height / 2
    Then, base x height = X2                 (According to the question)
    X x height/2 = X2               (base – X  is given in the question)
    Height = 2 x X2/X
    Height = 2 X
    Hence, the altitude of the triangle is 2 X.
