Amrita Pritam’s work “A revenue Stamp” is An autobiography. Amrita Pritam (31 August 1919 – 31 October 2005) was first prominent woman Punjabi poet, novelist and essayist. “Ajj aakhaan Waris Shah” is her poignant poem, and also remembered for that. She was became the first woman to win the Sahitya Akademi Award, She won India’s highest literary award ‘Bharatiya Jnanpith’ She was also won two highest Indian civilian award “Padma Shri” and “Padma Vibhushan”.
