Biodegradable products are those that can be decomposed by microbes and other natural biological processes. Biodegradable waste can be commonly found in municipal solid waste as green waste, food waste, paper waste and biodegradable plastics. Biodegradation is a microbial process that occurs when all of the nutrients and physical conditions involved are suitable for growth.
