    Sodium Thiosulfate is used as Fixer in Photography.

    It is commonly called Hypo and used in photographic processing. Hypo was first used in photography the Rev. Joseph Bencroft Reade in 1837. It helps removal of Silver Halide that gets remained on the photographic paper.
